Dominica Birding Tour:
April 26th - April 30th 2025
Let’s chase waterfalls while birding in Dominica where we will traverse lush landscapes in search of the Nature Island’s endemic bird species. THE foremost Dominican birding authority Bertrand Jno Baptiste aka ‘Dr. Birdy’ will lead us through National Parks that are designated an Important Bird Area (IBA) and UNESCO World Heritage Site, respectively. In addition, Dr. Birdy will take us to an off-the-beaten-path location for a unique birds of prey sighting.

Possible Sightings: Imperial Amazon (or “Sisserou”), Red-necked Amazon (or “Jaco”), Blue-Headed Hummingbird, Plumbeous Warbler, Lesser Antillean Pewee, Brown Trembler, Mangrove Cuckoo, House Wren, and Lesser Antillean Barn Owl at a private location
Guide: Birding excursions led by Dr. Birdy. In addition, the group will be accompanied by an engaging, supportive Beija Flor Trip Leader who is knowledgeable about birding
